I had to ring the desk bell 3 times to get the attention of the desk. The man wasnt overly friendly and he attempted to over charge for the room. I tried to just overlook it because it was late. Upon entering the room my nose was assaulted by a strong mildew musk. The bed was comfortable and neatly made though and there was good ac. We found roaches throughout the room. Their breakfast was cheap and unappealing. There is much more i could write but then i would be here all day. I simply will end by saying i will never be coming back to stay here, i will spend the extra to go somewhere else.
Not bad for the price. Beds were really soft and comfortable. Rooms felt pretty clean compared to other places in town.
The smell started in the outdoor hallway next to our room. Small bursts of cat urine scent as we walked along. Our room smelled like strong cleaning chemicals, attempting to cover cat urine. We bought some air freshener in a more pleasent scent and I circled the room about 10 times before leaving for dinner. The chemical/urine smell was as strong as before when we returned. All the hotels in town were booked up so we had no choice. This was our second room assigned as the first had been smoked in when it was a no-smoking room and needed to be cleaned. We bought candles and put them around the room before settling in.
Karoke Larry was great. Lot of fun in a nice little bar. Friendly folks.
This hotel has the best bar. Dark . Everything wood. Stiff drinks. Great service.
The bed was comfortable, as nice as other hotels. My wife liked that there were mirrors all around the bathroom, lots of them, big ones. The sink and mirrors in the bathroom area were the only things I liked. The TV was fuzzy, had linees flashing on all the channels.
