Mr.Smith didn't care about what me and my kids needed. He just saw us as a big pay day. Then after I dismissed him as my lawyer he tried to sue me for writing up some paperwork "attorney fees".
He was completely terrible at his job. He did not look out for my best interest at all. I expressed to him word for word what I wanted and he did not care one bit. My ex husband completely got the good deal on this one. Well money wise. I got the beautiful baby girl that he sees one day a year. I am so glad he doesn't have to pay for his responsibilities thanks to Mr. Smith. I am sure he thanks you but my daughter and I do not. Please find a job you are good at.
Mr Smith does what is best for Mr. Smith, not what is best for his client. At least that is the experience I was a part of. He does not return calls, didn't advise that we could go through the JP court, and the judgement he did get in County court did not allow us to recover attorneys fees which a substantial amount.
Very Impressed. Hired to review some contracts (oil & gas leases), prepare a power of attorney for my mom. Later on, he did my divorce. Very knowledgeable, accessible...returned my calls, answered my questions. He got me primary custody of my kids, what I really wanted, and got the Judge to order my ex to pay child support based on what he actually made, rather than what he said he made. He and his staff found the evidence to do it. All in all, helped put me in a much better place.
