I highly recommend. Food was excellent, came out super fast and the staff was wonderful. The owner/wife came out and personally thanked us for coming in. We were a group of seven and everyone loved it. Reservations are recommended thiugh as they are only open for a short time.
Had the grilled portobello sandwich... It was awesome. They have friendly Staff and great prices.
The menu has everything from quesadilla's, sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups to a daily fish and other specials. Dessert is a treat that, if you can muster the space or take it home, will make you smile like a child! Creme brulee comes to mind....
Just a recommendation...because of its popularity, arrive early or later to avoid the lunch rush.
Railway Cafe is the best place for upscale lunch in Athens, Texas. They have a variety of options on the menu and attentive staff. The atmosphere is a little loud from the concrete floor and brick walls, but after a few minutes, you wont even notice.
Neat little trendy place. Several of the staff, may have been new? Enjoyed everything we ate. Definitely be back in to try more of the interesting creative items.
Really an amazing place to eat! Fresh great quality food and superbly cooked, great service too. And the creme brûlée is amazing.
