I go to fsb during the week and I go by to close my account about 3:30pm- 4:00 and they are not open when their hours are 8-5pm
I love FSB! Always so helpful and friendly.
This bank just plain sucks. If you are new and just starting out, I would strongly recommend you find another bank before you invest years of allegiance to FSB Athens only to see their true colors revealed. There are way too many other options.
I have had a great experience moving into Athens two years ago and First State Bank has been a big part of of helping my husband and I with setting up investments and financing in our transition. Armando and Amber have been wonderful to us and really helpful when we needed it. I look forward to using this bank to teach our twin boys about finances as they head to college.
